  1. How long do I have to use the Prism Glasses?
    • There is no specific time that you should wear the Prism Glasses, however it is generally recommended that mirror therapy is conducted for 10 mins 15 mins and repeated several times a day. Each individual may adjust their treatment regimen to reflect the individuals specific condition and symptoms.
  2. How frequently should I use Prism Glasses?
    • Each individual may adjust their treatment regimen to reflect the individuals specific condition and symptoms; before changing a treatment regimen, consult your doctor or healthcare provider.
  3. Are there any side-effects of using Prism Glasses?
    • A small number of patients using this device may experience some dizziness or disorientation at first. This dizziness/disorientation normally passes after the first few minutes of use. If not, discontinue the therapy for a short period of time. If the dizziness/disorientation is evident at the second attempt, stop therapy and seek further advice from your doctor.
  4. Should I keep using pain killers or other prescribed drugs?
    • Consult your doctor before reducing any prescribed therapy.
  5. Are the Prism Glasses suitable for left and right sided conditions?
    • The unique design of the Prism Glasses enables the user to look at their limb through the left eye or right eye by simply turning the glasses over.
  6. Can I use Prism Glasses with my normal glasses?
    • The prism glasses are designed to be used both with and without normal glasses.  The prism glasses should fit over the majority of prescription glasses.  If used without prescription glasses the image or your limb may appear blurry, but there is no evidence that this effects treatment.
